Jenny Salinas is VP of Marketing for S&P Global Commodity Insights, a division of S&P Global, leading provider of ratings, benchmarks, and analytics in global capital and commodity markets. Based in Houston, Jenny is head of the global marketing function responsible for developing and executing a global marketing vision and strategy that drives business transformation and growth. For over 25 years, Jenny has held various executive leadership positions. Today, as part of an evolving commercial organization, Jenny’s demand generation team covers marketing strategy and insights, product marketing and go-to-market, web and media operations, partner, and field marketing. Along with her peers, Jenny is navigating disruptive forces from M&A to AI-enablement and building resilient teams that impact growth through alignment and collaboration across functions. Before S&P Global, Jenny led the implementation of new customer experience strategies and executed large-scale transformations that redefined the role of marketing at both the newly consolidated energy and natural resources division of IHS Markit and the software and emerging digital technologies division of Halliburton.     Jenny carries a unique combination of industry, technology, and functional experience. She is a Deloitte CMO Academy Alumni and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Texas at Austin.
